Learning Playfully
GITSCHBERG SKI AND SNOWBOARD COURSES FOR KIDS
When teaching the youngest entrants, we use learning aids including poles, balls, bows and hats. We use learning aids such as poles, balls, bows and cones for our children's ski courses. Our ski school mascot Jogi playfully accompanies the children as they learn to ski.
Children's ski classes are on Sundays to Fridays during the winter season. Students arriving on Sundays can already join the Monday classes. A minimum of 4 kids are required per class. All children receive a small gift from us.
Ski courses for children/beginners
When taking part in our children’s beginner ski courses, prior experience isn’t necessary – all you need is some curiosity and the desire to ski. Encouraged by Jogi, our cheerful mascot, you’ll see how quickly the kids pick up their first moves. All children will receive a name tag and a colored vest at the ski school office before the start of the course.
Course with final competition and prize-giving:
Sundays to Fridays, from 10.00 – 12.00
Open for Monday registration.
Daily courses during the Christmas period.
Venue: "Pobistlift" in the village – Meeting Point #1
Prerequisites:

No previous knowledge necessary

Ski courses for children/advanced skiers
If your wunderkind has already skied on red and blue slopes, this advanced course is just what is needed. We repeat everything that has already been learned and work to improve the student’s technique. All children will receive a name tag and a colored vest at the ski school office before the start of the course.
Course with inal race and prize-giving event:
Sundays to Fridays, from 10.00 – 12.00
Open for Monday registration.
Daily courses over the Christmas period.
Venue: Nesselbahn exit – Meeting Point #3*
Prerequisites:

Minimum age: 5 years

Child has previously skied on blue and red slopes
*If the child’s parents are not skiing, we can bring them from the Nesselbahn valley station to Meeting Point #3. After the end of the lesson, the children will be brought back to the Nesselbahn valley station.

All-day children’s ski course
The all-day ski course takes place from Sundays to Fridays, from 10.00 – 14.30. The programme includes a varied children’s lunch menu, including a cool drink. You can also join the ski course on Mondays. All children will receive a name tag and a colored vest at the ski school office before the start of the course.
For beginners:
