SPECIALISED CHILDREN'S SKI SCHOOL
The Gitschberg Ski School specialises in children's ski tuition, and we adhere to suitable criteria concerning children instruction:
-
Morning classes.
-
For children aged 3 and up, we recommend booking a private lesson – a gentle and safe introduction to skiing.
-
A trial lesson for very small kids (4 – 5) to see if they are ready to ski.
-
A secure children's practice zone with features such as the "bobsleigh run", "washboard", and even a mini ski jump.
-
Easy aids to help ascend the slope, such as a ‘tapis roulant’ (magic carpet).
-
Learning aids include: poles, balls, arches and cones.
-
Jogi, our friendly mascot is always ready to assist the kids.
-
Before lessons start, all children are issued with their own name tags, and coloured waistcoats.
-
At the end of each course, there’s a race and a prize-giving ceremony.
-
The all-day ski course includes a children’s lunch (menu choice), plus a cool drink.
-
When parents are busy signing up for ski lessons or renting ski equipment, the children can distract themselves in our children's corner.
